Johannes Martens (b. 1977) is member of the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, in addition to his work as a solo and chamber musician. He studied at the Guildhall School of Music in London with Professor Leonard Stehn, and at the Norwegian Academy of Music with Professor Aage Kvalbein and Truls Mørk. Johannes Martens plays on a cello by Francesco Rugeri (ca 1690), generously on loan from the Foundation Dextra Musica. June 2013
