After Bjørn Berge´s tremendous success in Europe the last four years, he"s now ready to release his 8th album "I"m the Antipop."

On this album Bjørn is playing on a 12 string guitar, a Bajo Sexto and footstomping. Bjørn has picked some of his favourite songs on this album, and he has completed the recording with 3 of his own instrumentals.

Musical Highway Robber

Armed with only his guitars, Berge is a musical highway robber savvy enough to leave the mediocre by the wayside, and only take with him what can enrich his music and performance. Live Berge is merciless, leaving audiences, but reeling as he packs up his guitar and heads on to the next venue, the next gig, the next challenge.

Rebellious Play

He plays as if he had fifty sets of arms and twenty pair of legs, and with an insatiable musical curiosity and appetite which will never allow him to become jaded or stuck in a rut. Berge has still got the rebellion and curiosity of youth in him, restlessness is in his blood. And the devil"s snapping at his heels.
