After the cd "Spellemann" (2009) - which sold to gold in Norway, about 9000 copies in Sweden and resulted in a tour and TV show with guest fiddler Alexander Rybak - the sequel is finally here.

The album is called "Kärleken & Livet" (Love & Life),, and it"s a tribute to Rolf Løvland. Rolf and his music has inspired Bettan since they met in 1984. The two of them have had several commercial successes together , and now some of them are recorded again with a brand new twist.

Inspiring musicians

"My last album, "Spellemann" was a tribute to the musicians who have inspired me and lifted my career further -here Rolf was represented. "Kärleken & Livet" is a continuation of the inspiration and then Rolf was a natural choice "- Bettan

This cd contains new recordings of the three greatest songs they've done together. "La det swinge" has become a happy instrumental version with Orsa Spelmän. "Danse mot vår" has become a classic version including Prague Symphony Orchestra and Alexander Rybak as guest soloist. "Duett" has turned into a hymn from Bettan to Jan Werner.

New Norwegian and Sweedish texts

The rest of the songs on "Kärleken & Livet" is a selection of Bettan"s favorites from Løvlands" treasure chest. The new Swedish and Norwegian texts -by Rolf Løvland, Jostein Fet, Åsa Jinder,Py Bäckman, Britt Wiberg and Hans Olav Mørk - makes this a record with Bettans" own interpretation and charm.
